Notice: Keep Your Documents Ready Before You Apply
This notice is for everyone planning to apply for a Yoga Alliance EU credential. A little preparation before you start can make your application faster to review and easier for everyone involved.
Why Documents Matter
Every credential is awarded after our team reviews your application against our standards. The documents you upload are the evidence we use. If a document is unclear, missing or incomplete, we must pause the review and ask you for more information, which adds time.

- A clear copy of your yoga teacher training certificate.
- Details of the training program, including the school name and number of hours.
- For experienced teacher levels, evidence of your teaching experience.
- Your contact details, entered exactly as you want them to appear.
Checklist for Schools
- An outline of your teacher training curriculum and total hours.
- Information about your lead trainers and their qualifications.
- Your school name, address and website details.
- A short description of your program for the public directory.
Checklist for Continuing Education Providers
- A description of the courses or workshops you offer.

- Details of how your courses are delivered, in person or online.
Tips for a Smooth Review
- Scan documents clearly so all text is readable.
- Use consistent spelling of your name across all documents.
- Check that file formats and sizes meet the application form requirements.
- Read the Eligibility and Requirements page before you begin.
If any of your documents are in a language other than English, please contact us before applying so we can advise you on the best way to submit them.
Need Help?
If you are unsure about any requirement, please read our FAQ or contact us. We are happy to guide you before you submit.
A Note on Accuracy
All information you provide should be accurate and up to date. Submitting incorrect or misleading documents can lead to your application being declined or a credential being withdrawn later. If you are unsure whether a document is suitable, please ask us first. We would much rather help you prepare properly than ask you to start again.
Keep copies of everything you submit. You may find them useful later when you renew your credential or update your details, and it saves time if we ever need to confirm a record with you.
When you are ready, you can start on the Apply Now page. Thank you for helping us keep the review process smooth and fair.
